St Mary Magdalene Parish was originally part of Kingston Parish until 1849 see footnote 240; and was itself divided into Richmond St John (1838), Richmond St Luke (1890), Richmond Christ Church (1894), Richmond St Philip and All Saints (1930) and Richmond Holy Trinity (1970).
